Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is an electric fire stove?
An electric fire stove is a heating appliance that produces fire like a traditional wood-burning stove. It uses electricity and plasma technology to generate heat and flame.
The electric stove uses electricity to generate flames that heat cookware for cooking. Plasma technology converts electrical energy into thermal energy, generating a high-voltage arc that breaks through the air, ionizing the molecules to create plasma. The plasma then reacts with the stove’s plasma head to produce a flame reaching up to 1300°C, which is approximately 400°C higher than a traditional gas stove. This is what we call “electric fire” technology.
Yes, E-gnite electric fire stoves are highly energy-efficient compared to gas stoves and induction cookers. The adjustable dial allows for temperatures up to 1300°C, which can reduce cooking time by up to 40%.
Yes, the E-gnite electric fire stove has a cooling fan and requires a slight hollow space beneath or around the stove for proper ventilation.
5. Do I need professional installation?
No, all our Egnite electric fire stoves are plug-and-play and only require a standard electrical outlet.
Yes, as long as it is near an electrical outlet and away from flammable materials.
No, it uses a standard 230V outlet.
It is strongly recommended to use a dedicated circuit.
9. How many heat modes does the E-gnite electric fire stove have?
The Egnite electric fire stove has three heating modes: Low, Medium.and High(up to 1300°C).
Yes, the flames are real. Please do not place fingers or body parts over the fire.
On high heat, there may be soft crackling sounds.Combination stoves may emit a slight hum due to the cooling fan.
Yes, all our Egnite electric fire stoves come with adjustable heat setting.
This is normal. The 2500W single burner uses plasma phase-interleaving technology to create an open flame. If there is no pot, the flames won’t ignite fully. The flames will ignite once they encounter the pot. This issue should resolve after a few uses. The startup process may take around 20 seconds for all burners to light up.
While you can adjust the strength of the fire by controlling the electric power, the flame temperature itself cannot be adjusted. The maximum temperature of the Egnite electric fire stove is 1300°C (or 1200°C for certain models).
Suitable materials include stainless steel, iron, carbon steel and cast iron.Avoid using aluminium, glass, ceramic, teflon-coated and non-stick cookware.
16. Is it safe to touch the stove while in use?
The exterior typically remains cool, but the fire and heating vents will get hot and should not be touched.
No harmful gases are emitted from the electric stove.
All electronic products emit electromagnetic radiation, but the radiation from our product is minimal and poses no harm to the human body. It has passed the Singapore Safety Mark certification.
Yes, but supervision is advised to prevent tampering with the real fire.
Our product has not only the international IEC certification, as well as our local Safety Mark. It has undergone extensive testing and includes three layers of anti-electric leakage functions for safe use.
The Egnite stove has an automatic shut-off feature that activates after 1 hour of continuous use. Simply turn the dial back on to resume use.

The display shows two pieces of information:

The upper part shows real-time power usage, which varies with different heat levels.

The lower part shows cumulative power usage, helping users calculate the cost. If there is a malfunction, the panel will display an error code starting with “E” or “U.” For troubleshooting, refer to the product manual or contact our customer support.

23. How do I clean the stove?
Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and use a dry cloth for the interior. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
The flame may extinguish temporarily but will automatically reignite.
The Egnite electric fire stove has a waterproof panel. However, due to internal heat dissipation, there are intake and exhaust vents, making it not fully waterproof. Small amounts of water entering the stove won’t have any impact, but to ensure longevity, disconnect the power and clean the stove.
No, it does not. Just clean it regularly after use to preserve its longevity.
Check the power source and consult the user manual. If needed, contact customer support.
28. Is the monthly bill from using Egnite electric fire stove cheaper than a gas stove or induction cooker?
Yes, it’s typically 40% cheaper than gas stoves and 20% cheaper than induction cookers.
No, it requires electricity to operate
A 2500W stove consumes 2.5 kWh of electricity per hour at full power, and a 3000W stove consumes 3 kWh. For a family of four, the average monthly electricity cost would be around $10 to $25, based on an average electricity rate of $0.29 per kWh.
Induction stoves reach a maximum temperature of around 200°C, whereas the Egnite electric fire Stove with a 2500W burner can reach up to 1300°C. This allows the Egnite electric fire stove to cook faster and consume less electricity.
32. Do the flames look realistic?
Yes, the flames are real.
All home models are portable and require only a power socket to operate.
34. How long is the lifespan of Egnite electric fire stove?
Yes, the flames are real.
All models include a 1 year warranty.
36. Are electric fire stoves eco-friendly?
Yes, they are emission-free and use energy-efficient plasma technology.
Yes, faster cooking times help lower overall energy usage reducing your overall monthly bills.
38. Can I use it outdoors?
Yes, the stove is portable and can be used outdoors if connected to a power socket.
Yes, the stove is suitable for both BBQ and steamboat. We recommend using a covered grill plate or “Mookata hot plate grill” for BBQ instead of an open wire mesh, as oil may drip into the fire pods.
An Egnite electric fire stove uses plasma technology to create real flames, while an induction cooker uses electromagnetic energy to heat cookware.
The Egnite electric fire stove generates an open flame with a temperature about 400°C higher than a gas flame. This higher temperature enhances the heat penetration, which adds to the “Wok Hei” effect, providing a smoky, charred flavor to your food, making it tastier.
